Adriana and Mackenzie met in 2003 while attending beauty school in Portland, OR. The two became fast friends and after both graduating with a full cosmetology license, they worked in some of the top rated salons in Portland together.
In 2010 Adriana began training with American Crew and has traveled all over the country while still maintaining a full schedule at a busy barber shop in downtown Portland. Now, as one of the company’s top educators and barbering specialist, she is ready to share her knowledge with a new team.
Mackenzie opened her own single chair barber shop in a suburb city of Portland during the winter of 2010. She stayed busy with her loyal clientele and loved the freedom and quietness of being on her own.
After 8 years Mackenzie and Adriana came back together and opened Hair Method Studio in the summer of 2018. The two friends envisioned a salon space where continuing education and support was a priority in helping other barbers and hairdressers reach their potential.
